Hanna is a transport planner at Arup. With a background in Urban Planning as well as Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics, Hanna has knowledge in both the societal and technical aspects of planning for cycling.
Hanna is passionate about weighing the perspectives of all road users in order to find the best solutions for facilitating sustainable change. Moreover, she plans and designs measures, schemes and actions that benefit all people, including groups that are usually underrepresented, such as children, the elderly and persons with reduced mobility.
Hanna has lived, studied and worked in Finland, the UK and the Netherlands, which has given her a strong understanding of the different social contexts for cycling. At Arup, Hanna has worked on cycling projects in The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and Turkey.
