UCI is known for it international elite sports cycling and organises over 60 events a year all over the world. These events generate a lot of publicity and provide excellent cases to support urban cycling. Board member of the Dutch Cycling Embassy Herbert Tiemens was the Dutch delegate to give Dutch insights about transferring knowledge. In the Grand Depart of Tour de France in Utrecht in 2015 Tiemens explained a perfect example to broaden the interest of the general public for cycling. In Utrecht the city not only made a showcase of the infrastructure [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuDeF6pd2DA], the 100 days program before the start connected institutions around one theme: the joy of cycling!
