Sharing sustainable transport strategies to other regions, especially to Latin America, is Carolina’s main ambition. After finishing her bachelors in Civil and Environmental Engineering in Colombia, Carolina worked in Mexico City in a consulting transportation company. Here she had the opportunity to work in transportation planning and sustainable development. After returning to Colombia Carolina did a Master in Transport Systems with the same university and started working in the challenging process of organizing Bogotá’s public transport (SITP). In 2015 she finished a Master degree in Urban Planning and Environment in the Netherlands. Carolina would like to learn a lot about the Dutch sustainable transport planning and combine and apply this in developing countries such as hers.
